19yr Technology Wizard Develops Android Game :: Greater Kashmir

The game ‘Unending Pursue’ developed by Fazil Mir son of Riyaz Ahmad Mir of Indira Nagar here is registered with search engine Google and has achieved a 4.4 rating on the World Wide Web.
“The game is fully Physics based. There are objects scattered here and there and a character namely Looby. You just have to place objects in such a manner so that Looby finds a way out,” reads the game description on Google.
The 7.4 megabytes ‘Brain and Puzzle’ game witnessed over 100 installs on Android cell phones since April 20 across the World.
“I am very enthusiastic about game. This is just a beginning,” Fazil told Greater Kashmir. “In future, I want to develop 3D war games.”
Son of a property dealer, Fazil said he had no money initially to launch the game. “But my father helped me buy software through which I developed this game,” he said. Just 19, the game developer is pursuing a course in Software Engineering and is doing a job in a software company that constructs and develops IT infrastructure in J&K.
Fazil has developed the game in ‘Corona’ – a software development kit that, he said, cost him Rs 20,000. “My father helped to buy the software online,” he said.
With the use of Corona software, Fazil could create graphics and animation through codes. “I first opened an account in Google Developer. Then I bought some graphics from the Web and made others in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Rest of the game has been developed through coding language Lua,” the 19-yr boy said.
“I came to know about Corona five years ago. I downloaded its free version and started practicing. Unending Pursue is the Output.”
Fazil has studied commerce at ten plus two level, “But my interest to game developing was innate.” “Now I am planning to work on bigger platforms like 3D Max. My next sojourn would be a computer game,” he said. “The only motive of my life is to win, to win and to win...,” reads his biography on social networking site Facebook.
In Kashmir, the trend of development of websites, games and applications among youth is gaining popularity. Recently, a 23-year-old software engineer Mehvish Mushtaq developed an Android application ‘Dial Kashmir’ that contains over 500 contacts of government and private departments.

For those who stereotype Kashmiris, this should act as an eye opener. A 19-year-old techie has developed an android game using the concept of physics. Fazil Mir, a software engineering student, has become the first Kashmiri to develop android game in Jammu and Kashmir.
‘Unending Pursue’ was uploaded on the internet only three days ago and it has so far had 150 downloads. Consisting of 10 levels, the game is freely available online on Google market and it has got 4.5 rating out of five.
“I am the first person in Jammu and Kashmir to have developed an android game. It is a physics-based game wherein I am using linear damping, angular damping, friction, velocity, density, gravity as well as bounce. We have to apply mind so that we can place the objects in such a manner that the character called Looby comes out of the hole,” Fazil told DNA.

Kashmiri Youth Develops Android based Game :: Kashmir Standard

Fazil Mir, pursuing software engineering from NIIT Residency Road has become a first teenager Android Game Developer of Kashmir. ‘I have developed so many websites, software, Apps and now Games too’, says Fazil hailing from Indra Nagar Srinagar.
According to Fazil, The Game is fully physics based. It depends on basic. The player has to place objects in such a manner that LOOBY finds a way out. With each passing level, the difficulty gets boosted up. One has to be patient and just use his mind to un­derstand the logic of this game. There Are Good Animations Used In It And Graphics Too. So, Install It And Take The LOOBY Out From The Bounded Stage.
Fazil did his schooling from Woodlands House School up to 10th standard and com­pleted 10+2 from SP higher secondary school Srinagar. Currently a student of software engineering (NIIT) Residency road, he works with Rational Tabs Technologies as a Graphic designer, software, web, Android and iOS developer.
‘Firstly I would like to thank Allah, and my loving Mom and Dad. They supported me so much. They are the best parents ever. I would also like to thank Sandeep Uncle, my Dad’s friend. Without him it would have been impossible. And thanks to all those who supported me’.
Fazil published his first game on 20th April (Unending Pursue) On Google Market. ‘I want to show the whole world that we Kashmiris are not less than anyone. I just want to see the youth of Kashmir at the Top.’
Fazil says that one should not hide his talent. ‘Instead, just express yourself and feel proud. Believe in yourself and the rest will fall into place. Have faith in your abilities, work hard and there is nothing you cannot accomplish’, adds Fazil who is all set to come up with another game very soon.

Young Tech Enthusiast Develops Android Game In India’s Kashmir :: MPelembe

A 19 year old tech enthusiast becomes the first Kashmiri in the northern state to develop an android game based on the concept of physics.
Fazil Mir, an ambitious software engineering student created a ten level game 'Unending Pursue' and published it recently on the internet which till now had 150 downloads.
The game is freely available on the internet and has witnessed an average rating of 4.5 out of 5.
Mir expressed his happiness over the success of game and said that everyone should show their talent to the world.
"What I want to say to the Kashmiri youth, if they have any kind of talent just show it, don't keep it hidden from the world. You just need to show it, show your talent, show what you are, show the talent to the world. Actually I made this game six months before but I was not publishing it. I was just keeping my talent hidden from the world. But my dad told me to go on, just buy it and publish it in the android market and finally I am here," said Mir in Srinagar city of India's northern Jammu and Kashmir state on Thursday (May 09).
The game is such that there are objects scattered here and there and there is a character, Looby, while the player had to place the objects in such a manner so that Looby finds a way out.
Appreciating the work, Suhail Joseph, a friend of Mir said that the development of the IT sector in the province would prove beneficial for the youth.
"IT sector is developing in Kashmir and there is a lot of scope in this. As we saw that my friend developed an android game, so these things show that Kashmir is developing. We want IT sector to keep developing in the state, as it would benefit us a lot," said Joseph.
Mir while studying also worked in software company, which is engaged in the development of IT infrastructure in the state.
Recently, the youth in the valley are getting increasingly involved in developing websites, games and applications.
In order to ensure that the people do not face any problem to contact the prominent personalities, a 23-year-old software engineer Mehvish Mushtaq developed anAndroid application 'Dial Kashmir' which contained over 500 contacts of government and private departments.

Unending Pursue è una nuova gaming app per Android, che ha visto la luce e il lancio ufficiale da qualche ora via Facebook e anche Google Plus.

Unending Pursue è un gioco basato completamente, dalle dette dell’autore, sulla fisica e le sue leggi.
Nei vari livelli troveremo oggetti sparsi qua e il personaggio del gioco, cioè Looby.
Quello che noi dovremo fare all’interno dei livelli di Unending Pursue, è quello di mettere i vari oggetti in modo tale da permettere a Lobby di trovare velocemente e semplicemente la via d’uscita dal livello.
Più avanzerete nel gioco e più la difficoltà aumenterà, facendovi impegnare di più la vostra mente e la vostra logica, per poter superare con successo ogni livello. Dandovi così la possibilità di passare del tempo in relax, ma anche impegnando un pò le vostri sinapsi.
Va detto che l’applicazione, ha una buona fluidità delle animazioni e anche una colona sonora molto inspirata ai vecchio giochi arcade, però questo la rende un’applicazione installabile e compatibile anche con device poco preformanti e all’altezza di certe prestazioni ed elaborazioni grafiche e di calcolo.
